Derailing

Sometimes,

many times,

my brain feels like the fastest ride.

And it’s fun.

So fun.

Until it’s not fun at all.

But man,

it’s hard to stop when you’re derailing.

And some days I try.

I try to hold on to any-thing,

To any-one

that may appear.

Some other days,

I am not able.

Some other days,

I’m only able to cover my eyes and wait.

Wait for the ride to crash.

Hoping to survive.

Knowing that if I don’t,

Well…

I tried.
